Top 8 decisions of Yogi Adithyanath in 30 days as Uttar Pradesh CM

Yogi Adithyanath, has successfully completed his first 30 days of CMgiri in the state with bold initiatives and shocking decisions. Yogi Adithyanath took an oath as Chief Minister of the state on March 19, 2017. The biggest hard-line Hindu leader and five times Gorakhpur Constituency MP was a best choice for Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah to pick for the profile. However, there were many critics flew along the way, as because Yogi Adithyanath was a Powerful Hindu priest, known for his impeccable Hindutva credentials that includes Ghar Wapsi and fight against ‘Love Jihad’. Many foreign Medias were part of this criticism.

Here are the list of key decisions took from Yogi Adithyanath, between first 30 days of the rule.

1.    Asset Declaration: This was the first daring step took by Yogi, after taking oath as CM. The new CM strictly ordered all his ministers to declare all their income, properties (includes both movable and immovable) within 15 days. Though not all ministers have come forward to declare, Yogi Adithyanath is quite serious and fixed to this stand.
2.    Cleanliness and Honesty: Adithyanath, in his administration has made all his ministers to take an oath on cleanliness and honesty. He has fixed every Friday as the day for every staff to hygiene the workplace, where each staff should contribute 2 hours for their tidy ambience. CM has also made clear that this government will not give any space for corruption and would follow Law and Order.
3.    Paan Ban:  Adithyanath has come forward to ban consumption of Paan Masala and Gutka in the premises of Government offices, schools and hospitals.
4.    Meat Elimination: Soon after taking the oath, Adithyanath made an immediate attempt on prohibiting the illegal slaughter houses, meat shops which was running without license, and the most prominent action is on ban of cow smuggling. However, they had to face several serious strikes from the traders, but soon they brought the issue into control.
5.    Anti-Romeo squads: The CM asked for setting up an Anti-Romeo squads keeping in mind about the harassments on women. A fewer opposition was made against Police Department regarding the issue, saying that they shouldn’t be inhuman while implementing it.
6.    Closing Potholes: Adithyanath has set a deadline on June 15th to fix the Potholes issue, the CM wants all UP roads to be safe and free from endangers.
7.    Distributing portfolios without involving lobbies: Soon after appointment, Yogi, went on to meet PM Modi in Delhi, where he discussed regarding the distribution of portfolios to his cabinet Ministers and requested Modi to order all the MPs to not to involve in any lobbying for transfers and postings of officers.
8.    Waiving off farm loans: This is one of the most prominent programme from BJP, mainly from Adithyanath’s administration. Government has approved to waive off loans of farmers up to Rs 1 Lakh. This project would cost Rs 36,000 crore to Government and would benefit for around 2.15 crore farmers across the state. 

These are the main manifestos of BJPs Government mainly in Adithyanath’s administration within 30 days span. It also includes many other programs like Metro in Gorakhpur where CM has announced metro for both Gorakhpur and Jhansi, setting up of 5,000 wheat and potato procurement, regulating fee structure in private institutions, also planned to increase the number of medical institutions in the state. Adithyanath has emerged into an aggressive administration and these programs are ideal examples.
